Bed Frame Assembly

Rarely does handyman services get such request to assemble furniture of sorts.  But on occasion handyman services will get a call to assemble what might be considered as simple bed frame.  Just to find out it’s anything but simple.  On this particular project the handyman didn’t find a simple headboard, footboard, side rails and slats.

No on this project the handyman found what seemed like a 100 pieces of flat pack product that had to be assembled.  These pieces are what made up the headboard, footboard, side rails and slats.  The instruction book had 53 steps for assembly and to say the least about this not an ideal situation.  These projects can not be quoted on time because of the nature of the product. 

It took the handyman working nonstop and without lunch to complete the project in 7 hours and 15 minutes.  The pictures alone should be a clue as to why it took so long to assemble.  Customers should beware about the true cost of assembling such types of furniture.  Not everyone is adept in assembling such items without damage, left over parts or missing steps.
